There is a company in Thailand that makes ALL vintage and new camo. I can't for the life of me remember the name, but I remember seeing their site and being amazed to see Indochine Lizard pattern the french used as well as ERDL that US forces used in Vietnam. I know that Moore's Militaria sells the popplin ERDL fatigues-You might ask them where they get their material. I'll keep scouring also.-Josh

I emailed these people for costs to print the Autumn Oakleaf pattern on heavy cotton. They have replied with: Cost is US$ 29/meter delivered in 50" wide fabric and does not specify whether postage is included in this.

PM me if you want contact details.

I have some of the night desert overp@nts that I have modified to wear as regular p@nts; I bought them from sportsman's guide long long ago. I have been searching for yardage for some time, I even put up a wanted listing here with no response. I read an analysis of the stuff and their conclusion was that it was LESS effective at night in the desert than plain OD.

I still like it and think it would make a great kilt. One plus for us is the pattern is not as directional as most camo fabric and it could be cut the long way, thus not requiring the many seams most patterns require when kilting them.

I was active duty army when it was issued. Never saw much of it. Knowing the government there are rolls of it in a warehouse somewhere. Don't they know we need kilts. My favorite color is olive drab and that was the color or my first kilt. Heard back from my contacts in Russia, Germany, and South Africa, they are looking into what can be had, will post pics when I have them.- George
