Never tried it on before I cut the pleats out. Looks good. Be sure to keep the pleats dead straight down when you baste for pressing. Don't want those nice pleats to curl out or in.

Looks like you're doing great work there. If this is what your first kilt looks like I can't imagine how good a job you'll do when you've had more experience.
