In reading your post I imagined myself sitting on the deck with the view in your photo, and listening to him pipe the sun down. Certainly worth the neighbor's rightful, though unfortunate, response.

Yes it may be his right (though the law states 10PM for noise curfew), and I wouldn't have given it a second thought, unfortunately his demeanor makes it difficult to want to work with him.

I must thank him for one thing though,...my mentioning of him in the original post has once again shown me the balanced point of view on the forum.
