Welcomed as a Brother by Native Peoples

Yeah, I've noticed the Natives like us. I was told by a group of Crow last summer that the kilt is the garment of a warrior, and that if I have the stones to wear one for no reason, then I must be a warrior- and we're all brothers. I spent that weekend eating and drinking on the dime of the Crow Nation. Gotta love the brotherhood.

I don't know how much Ron knows of traditional Northwest coast dress. I describe it as Kilt, Cape, and Cap. I have noticed my modern native friends tend toward knee length apparel over full trousers. A brown utility kilt even mimiks the traditional colour of cedar bark fabric, as the common t-shirt colours mimic those of a traditional Button Robe. Interesting to ponder the connexions but I'll stop now before I spin too far on a tangent.
