What's the story on the huge hairy sporrans

I still think that for most of them, particularly the darker versions, you only need to add a pair of dark "cheap" sunglasses and, voila', you have a full mask ZZ Topp sporran.

I believe that would make you a "Sharp Dressed Man." Already feel the need to say sorry but just couldn't help myself.
I do personally like the look of a hairy sporran for formal wear but personally prefer the one's where the bottom of the hair isn't cut straight across like it seems like so many are done. I'm sure there is a reason it's done this way but just not what I prefer.
