So I open my post office box this afternoon and there is a fly announcing this year's conference of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers in Denver this October. The conference has the theme of "Reaching New Heights" and a photo shows four people hiking in the mountains. One hiker is wearing a KILT!

What's so wonderful is that sex offenders on probation are given STRICT rules about how they can dress and I never dreamed kilts would be allowed for obvious reasons.

A pic on a conference announcement doesn't change the rules for those probationers but it "seems" to show a more open attitude and acceptance of kilts as attire for men by those who are well versed in sex offender behaviors.

Or am I overly optimistic and its just a pic of a guy in shorts wearing his shirt around his waist....???
