Ordered my first Tank from Matt Newsome last night. It shall be a Kingussie style kilt in Lochcarron's Ancient Dunbar tartan. I like the more subdued colors in this tartan as opposed to the shocking red/orange and Kelly green in the Dunbar Modern tartan.

This is to be my "go to" kilt. While a tank, I believe I will have more opportunities to wear this kilt in a contemporary fashion. I will post pics when the time comes.

Also on my short list is a Tank in a modified Dunbar Tartan [will swap blue for green in the Dunbar Modern tartan] with a strong purple element, and a Tank in the Navy Edzell Tartan [I could go with the Polaris, I was a Submariner, but I don't care for the colors]...I think all shall be in the Kingussie style as I like that style of kilt.

Currently I have only a Celtic Croft Robertson Phillabeag. It is fine for re-enactments and Ren Faires but I am so looking forward to my first real "Tank".
