Re: Tartan of the Month - Feb 12: what do you see
1. Seems to be of a lighter weight than January's specimen
2. Could the top and bottom edges have been turned under slightly before the overcast stitch was used? Based on personal experience, doing a such a tight and narrow overcast so close to a raw edge generally has the stitching pulling away from the fabric, but I don't see any of that in the pic.
3. High on my success for finding worsted singles in the January specimen, I'd like to say that I can see that on this tartan, but the left edge is too blurred. And, based on the threads coming away from the tartan in the top right, seem to suggest otherwise, but again, too blurry to say for sure.
4. The wide red stripe on the left may be the pivot for the sett?
