I gotta say that, even though my own 1st kilt is a Douglas (paternal grandmother):
when I see the Wilson tartan it gives me a moment of pride and kinship. I think it must be because the color combination is so striking -- it takes a degree of self-confidence & panache that I'm just not sure I'm up to mustering enough to commit a kilt to it. Not yet, anyway.
