*Waves hello to everyone*

I haven't been kilting up for quite a long time. The main reason is that I've lost several pounds, and 2 of my 3 tailored kilts feel as though I'm wearing a feed sack...
Another reason is that I was a bit tired of wearing the same stuff with my kilts all the time.

When me, my wife and kids were getting ready to go meet my mother and friends at the local Scottish pub (The Highland still house) to see a very close, longtime family friend play a gig, I knew I had to kilt up, but didn't want to do too little, or somehow go overboard.
Anyways....Here's what I wore.




I have to admit that I was quite pleased with how I looked, and felt as though I beat the odds by being the rare hetero, Caucasian male who was able to dress himself well, without female intervention :-)
My wife and I are both musical types who lean towards the hard rock/metal side of things, and I like to represent that in subtle ways while going out and doing family oriented activities.

I look at these pictures and think I could do better, but can't quite put my finger on what exactly...
Does anybody feel motivated to offer suggestions and/or constructive criticism??
