I was very fortunate in that my first time in a kilt was at last years highland games. Pretty easy to feel comfortable when you are surrounded by other men in kilts.
Kilting in public has definitely been easier made easier here in B.C with the help of some good friends (including Andrew) that have also gotten in to wearing kilts, and Vancouver's regular kilts nights. I must aslo thank Bear, as his no nonsense approach to kilt wearing is infectious and really boosts your confidence level.
Plus I have a great wife (see my gallery) that loves my kilts and supports me 110%. Nothing could look bad with her on my arm. The perfect kilt accessory....a beautiful woman.
