The bug has bit. It started innocently enough with a casual utility kilt and now I've inched up to an amazingly comfortable tartan, 8 yrds yes, but alas, not of wool. One goes where one's budget permits. I found the package waiting for me when I got home from work today, shredded the box to get to the goodies. Fits around my waist like it was made for me. However, despite my 6 foot height, I've surprisingly short legs, so the 24" is bit too long. Anyone know of a tailor in the Chicago area that knows what a kilt is and can take it up a couple of inches? A first hand recommendation would be most welcome (scratches head, "can I ask about that here?") ...
