Just back from our trip to Scotland
Had a wonderful holiday, enjoyed Scotland, the people, the sights, the food, the hospitality. I'll try to post a couple pictures and I hope photobucket is working today. Typically, I hate photobucket and have not had very good luck with it. Hope this works.
This first picture is me and my wife, out on the town in Edinburgh.

Second picture is me and a re-enactor, in traditional garb, at Glamis Castle.

I didn't wear my Cameron kilt on this day and I wish I had, but, we visited the Battlefield at Cullodon and it was a surprise to me. I wasn't prepared for what we found there either. I did locate the Cameron stone and was able to have my picture made. Very emotional and I felt a very strong spiritual connection to the site. It's an amazing place.

Great reactions from all on the tour and from locals to my wearing a kilt. When we left the hotel for our night on the town in Edinburgh, our driver just pointed with both his hands. I returned the salute and we gave each other a high five as I boarded the bus! His smile and the twinkle in his eyes said it all. One other reaction that I'd like to share, while in Glamis Castle, I overheard one of the ladies on the tour ask the guide, "What is worn under the kilt?" Her reply, "Knowing him, nothing is worn under the kilt, it is all in fine working order!" They then noticed that I was listening, I gave them a thumbs up and we all laughed.
Great tour. Loved it.
