KCW - the socks did come out pinkish. Dylon has really cut back on their colors. This was called Tulip Red. Have found another dye brand - Tulip ( really-) that is using pure colors. - I hope.
Chase - Will try it , sounds good. Wonder about the eye strain though. The same cells in the retina perceive both red and blue. Thats why it is real rare to see red on blue or blue on red in printing. The letters look jiggly. The eyes and brain go a bit nuts. Maybe the large areas won't create the issue.
Worth a shot:
The red over blue seems to dazzle the eyes here and live.
