Hi gang! The 2013 catalog from House of Cheviot has been released. Only a few minor changes to the line up. I sent out emails to all the retailers here in the US yesterday, but since this brand of hose is so popular on this forum, I wanted to also give you guys a heads up on some of the changes.

The first change has to do with the color availability of the LEWIS and HARRIS ranges. Most all of the colors are the same with one exception. Navy blue is out. Purple is in. Some of you may recall that purple was available in the Lewis hose range a few years back. Apparently there is still demand for it. Navy is consistently towards the bottom of the sales ranking, so purple is in for navy.

Navy is still available, but it will be while stocks last. So if you like navy hose, pick up a pair from your favorite retailer while you can. And be on the lookout for purple to be added soon.

Currently the navy blue Lewis hose are on sale at Amazon.com for only $29.95, while stocks last.

I'll also take this opportunity to remind you that there is still some stock left of the Orange and old Mustard colored Rannoch hose. These are being replaced with Cinnamon and a new (brighter) mustard color. The old stock is also for sale on Amazon for $29.95 while they last.

Ok, another change coming up is a complete redesign of the Bowmore hose. I'll be posting photos of these within the next few days. In the meantime, there is still stock left of the old Bowmore style, so get those while you can!

Last thing coming up... House of Cheviot is introducing a line of Pipe Band hose. These are made with an extra long top that is designed to be turned down multiple times, allowing the wearer to adjust the height of the hose to his preference, as well as the thickness of the cuff. These will retail somewhere in between the Glenmore and the Lewis hose price points, and be offered in a range of 12 colors. So be on the lookout for those, as well.

Where to buy House of Cheviot hose? Many X Marks sponsors carry them. You can find a full list of retailers in the US here:
