Times really have changed!
Bless me father for I have sinned again, I wore shorts on account of a job that needed to be done working high off a ladder inside a busy store.
On the way home, walking in the city, who should tap me on the should but Russell. Russell is the only other guy in our whole city who is kilted most of the time.
He looked at me and exclaimed "where's your kilt??" It was the first time he'd seen me out of the kilt, also the first time I had met him kilted in the city.
You know, I was truly embarrassed.
A while back I would have been embarrassed to be seen in a kilt in the city, now tables have turned, I was ashamed NOT to be kilted in public.
It was better tonight, I took my wife to dinner at a local pub then coffee at another restaurant, I was happy to have the chance to be kilted again in the city.[/b]
