If you're happy and you know it...wear a kilt.
This will sound foolish, but I'm among friends here.
I had a bad day, it started with my teenage daughter deciding, in a fit of temper, to express her anger by slashing her wrists.
She was stitched up by a very efficient emergency ward and no major arteries were cut.
The joys of fatherhood!
So just to show what a fanatic I am, i will turn this sad event into a kilt discussion.
My point is this, before racing to the hospital and after some first aid treatment I changed out of my kilt into shorts.
Why did I do this?, not sure, except to say that I feel that wearing a kilt is an outward expression of joy and happiness.
So at this time of extreme unhappiness, I felt unable to wear a kilt.
Does this make sense?
We all have bad days, some of us may even have downright depressing days, so how does that effect your wanting to be kilted?
there you have it, the day is over, and I find joy in some fine music and a wee dram.
