It's taken more than a year for my wife to fully accept my kilt wearing. She was constantly worried about going out in public with me. She tolerated it, but barely. At the biker rally we attended a couple fo weeks ago she finally realized that it was no big deal. If these rough and tough bikers thought it was cool, then she finally decided she did too. Now it doesn't bother her, and she even admitted that she thought I looked "hot" in my kilt.
Now all I need is a new job so I can afford more kilts!
