So, I'm going to be in Ireland
The time of our much dreamt of trip to Ireland is near. I can't wait. Several of my great grandparents migrated from there and I'm looking forward both to that aspect as well as seeing the scenery.
I plan on wearing my Fraser Ancient Hunting Hillwalker kilt for the flight over & back. I also plan on wearing my Amerikilt and my Kinloch Anderson Breacan for hiking while in Ireland.
Any thoughts on how this will be received? I've worn the Breacan when flying to canada and received such positive feedback that I probably will always want to fly in a kilt.
Also, if at all possible, (being the worry-wart that I am) I would love to have a local contact that I could call should something disastrous occur. Anyone here live in the south-west and west of Ireland that would be willing to be an emergency contact?
Thanks!
