    Rob Roy from Celtic Croft

I got a 5-yd Rob Roy Great Kilt from CC and am quite happy with it. The wool is a nice smooth wool, not like the "Braveheart's" more rustic weave. Be sure to tell them it is for a kilt, and let them "fringe" the cut edges, this will keep the cloth from unraveling or fraying.
I plan on having mine pleated by a friend at the MD Renn Fair and then sewing loops in it for a cord to go through and not having to worry about having to pleat it by hand each and every time I want to wear it. I am ever so grateful to Matt for posting the article on his website about the drawstring method.. I can have my Great Kilt on in under 10 minutes (15, if my cats try to help me ) and I don't have to hand pleat.
Enjoy your kilt if you choose to get it from CC, you can't beat the price for the quality of the materiel.

    Cheers,

    Brian
