The Velcro closure on my USA Kilts Casual is one of my favorite things about it. It holds fast when in place, as mentioned above, and it is very easily adjustable. When I sit down, I like to let a little of the waist of my kilt out in order to give me a bit more room. With the two Velcro closure points (left and right) it is easy to do - much easier than on any other of my more traditional wool kilts.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
