I had to share this with the group: today, My wife, my parents & I, along with other members of our local Scottish society, were set up at the Highland Games in Buffalo, Missouri, about 30 miles north of Springfield. Something must of clicked in my Dad, because he told Page, my wife, that he wanted to start wearing a kilt, and asked her what she thought about it! Dad has never really been interested in wearing one before, but today, he was a changed man -- he helped out at our information tent, talking to folks about our Scottish society, and really getting into the kilted culture. He asked me if he could "try on" my old Clan Gunn kilt, and he wants to wear it to our St. Andrew's Day service at our church in November!!

I'm bursting buttons here! I'll be sure to take a photo of us in our kilts and post it in my gallery.

Incidently, we had a lot of folks ask where to get a reasonably priced kilt -- Bear, I sent a lot of folks your way, so hopefully you'll get some orders from Missouri soon!
