    I happen to agree that it's not something I'd want to wear in a kilt. It does have a rather pastel/feminine look to it. But I doubt they created it solely for the purpose of men wearing kilts of this fabric. We obviously tend to think of kilts first and foremost here on this site, but there are plenty of other places where this tartan might look great. As a tablecloth, or curtains, or a shawl, for example. It might even look good as upholstery for certain furniture. It needn't be a good kilting tartan to be meaningful or popular for other uses.

    While it may not be my cup of tea, I'm sort of glad that they did some "outside the box" thinking and didn't try to make it look like a traditional clan tartan. At least this one will be uniquely theirs, and I hope they are successful in making it a popular symbol for their area.
