Thanks for your kind compliments. We felt great. The venue was the United Service Club in Brisbane, which is housed in a delightful Victorian era building with Red Cedar trim, impeccable food and silver service. Being kilted feels almost expected at such a place. A memorable evening in every way.

Of course, the down side of getting my certificate is that I now have to use it, so back to sea I go...
