    Tearing PV material

    I have 6YDS double width XMarks PV tartan and intend to make 2 6yd Kilts. My question is will PV material rip the same way wool does or do I need to cut it. These will each be pleated to stripe and with enough for two Kilts they will be a different stripe. Many thanks in advance.
