The Scottish Society of Charleston is holding their 48th annual Scottish Games and Highland Gathering the weekend of Sept 20th.

Festivities start with a Whisky tasting Thursday evening. Friday night is a Tartan Ball. Saturday are the Games themselves. Sunday there's a Kirkin o the Tartan.

The "Honored Clan" this year are the US Armed Forces. All military members and veterans in uniform receive free admission Saturday. Not sure what constitutes "in uniform" for veterans no longer beholden to their respective service's regulations on wear and appearance.
