Sprran hangers issue
I prefer sporran hangers to sporran belts, although I wear both. When wearing a wide kilt belt there's no problem using the hangers. However, when I wear a waist coat etc., when wearing a kilt belt really isn't quite right, I revert to the sporran strap.
Like many here, I'm a bit paunchy, although not as profoundly round as many. Nevertheless, a sporran strap only pulls in the front of the kilt emphasizing my less than ideal shape.
What can I do? Is there someway to get the "slimming" effect of sporran hangers when not wearing a kilt belt or should I jut go ahead an wear a kilt belt under my waist coats and sweaters?
I know one answer: lose weight, and I'm doing that but at my age, It's a battle with nature. The loses are coming more and more slowly.
