I recently acquired a cargo kilt with two BIG snap closing pockets for fishing, scouts, etc. It really makes a difference when stalking or working. Everything to hand and plenty of space to put tools, sweets, etc.
To begin with I wasn't a great fan of 'cargo kilts', but I'm definitely a convert.
If I ever make one for myself, or can afford a bespoke one, a big pocket, maybe with a few smaller pouches sewn in to hold small things, is what I'll be going for next time.
