The weathermen tell us the temperature is around freezing point though it feels much colder with the chill factor of the wind. I've not been kilted much as I've been driving the school bus most days and wearing the regulation black trousers. I did see a man in a kilt this morning in Selkirk, he was wearing it with a bicycle instructor's hi-visibility bib, and I thought he made a great ambassador for advertising the warmth of the wool kilt by cycling in a kilt during this cold weather.
