Warmer yesterday, around 25c, had to run the car's AC on my way home from work.
But it's sad in a way not having seasons! My kids, aged 20 and 24, have never seen snow, except on far-off mountains a couple days a year. Living so close to the coast we hardly ever get down to freezing. Once in a blue moon there will be frost on the grass, on the cars, first thing in the morning, gone as soon as the sun comes up.
Yes visit! Brings t-shirts, board shorts, flip-flops... well, and kilts! We can all go to my place of work, Disneyland, for a big kilt day, and go down to Laguna Beach perhaps.
It's beautiful here the day after we get a big rain, that drops loads of snow in the local mountains, because you get the combination of crystal-clear sky and distant snow. It's a rare treat for us, to get the snow level low enough on the local mountains for them to be snow-covered all the way down to the foothills.
It looks like this (photo from The Orange County Register, showing Saddleback Mountain in the background)
