Tarheel, that is some of the most beautiful things I've heard. It is about having a sense of humour like the older couple, along with being supportive and like you say, being good friends. Mind you, we are about to do a major reno to the house and we've been told that kind of thing is a true test of any relationship.
I already told my fianćee I have to pass away before she does because I don't think I could ever live without her. Hopefully after several decades together.
