Yeah, it was really pretty dry up there. Not a speck of snow on this ridge. I wouldn't have minded some, truly; I just didn't want to deal with an icy, technical traverse along the top (with a grossly overweight pack).
The lakes were all still darn cold, none the less.
I did recently learn that the goats were non-native, but that doesn't mean I'd be any less willing to concede ground to them.

I don't travel out of state very often, but my company's corporate office is in PA (I work in California), so there's always a chance I might land out there one of these days!
