I was just having this conversation with my wife (from Ghana) about getting a 'Kente Kilt' made - her mum's a seamstress so I'm going to commission her to make a kilt for me out of the cloth! The original Kente cloth is very heavy, so this will be similar to a 'tank' in terms of weight. There is a lighter 'Holland print' cloth I could use but I'll have to see how prices measure up.
