If I hadn't actually had the oppotunity to try on of these on at the local Celtic Festival today, I likely would not have purchased one. I purchased the 2-Tone Black and Tan, and it looks REALLY nice. Fit's really good too.

RE: the ties in the back, they aren't actually ties, rather, they are elastic / shock cord, permanently sewn in. The size 36 I got (they updated the sizing BTW, now you just use the same number as your pants size) should be able to go up to a 44, if need be; lets pray that it doesn't.

I'll certainly be wearing this more than my Stillwater Economy I bought a few years back.
