How was your experience with R&I MacDonald Kiltmakers? I read them recommended from another source, but that was several years old.
Cheers Chip, R&I MacDonald Kiltmakers were really nice and helpful as their was no fittings all the measurements and advice were done via telephone calls, photos and e-mails which probably made it a bit harder for them but I have to say the fit is really nice and the length correct although you can't make this out from the above photo.
They are a very old traditional establishment that still hand stitch the kilts. My Dunans Rising kilt feels like it will last me the rest of my life and they did say if I ever needed it altering just to return it to them. I do not recall how I came across them but my guess is that it was probably via this very forum.
