Current forecast says we'll reach 72 (F) today in the North Texas area, which will be 20 degrees above average. It's a bit strange wearing springtime attire to the office today. Last weekend we had cooler temps, yet I was still out cutting the lawn and trimming the hedges. I have to admit the weather has been very nice, but I'm ready for winter at this point.

Here is some data showing averages and records for my small patch of the world on Christmas Eve.

    Dec 24 HIGH LOW PRECIP
    Average 52° F 31° F --
    Record 89° F (1955) 2° F (1983) --

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and/or a joyous holiday season... regardless of the weather.
