Promotion = New Kilts
 
Two days after being told "this is your last kilt for a while," (which reminds me, I need to post that story as well...) my fiancée and I were promoted to the grade 5 band (me on pipes and her on tenor drums). With this comes parades and competitions, so.... you guessed it.... new kilts!
