I have worn the kilt on formal nights (by whatever name) on all but Carnival. On Princess, there is almost always more gentlemen in kilts, and usually on the others. Never out of place.

Well met new friend. I hope you will honor us with photos of your experiences while kilted. Surely there are some in the vacation photos you have saved.
