Just pick up the phone and call. Rocky & Kelly are a lot cooler than any lame web site anyway. They were very willing to discuss at length with me the relative merits of the different fabrics they had on hand, what they recommended, etc. There is a lot of stuff in the shop, fabric-wise, that isn't on the web site and I don't think it would be fair to expect them to keep a full tartan inventory online and up to date at all times. It's literally two people with sewing machines working their asses off. We're not talking about Amazon.com here with a multi-million dollar war chest from a successful IPO to work with.
I agree with you Magnus, but I also agree with longforgan. Listing the materials for each tartan is really not that big of a feat. Smaller companies are able to do it. It clarifies information that the client may be looking for, and may play a huge role in which tartan they chose. Kind of a moot point as Rocky has said they are trying to get it back.
It saves the customer and the company the time of a phone call. In all fairness to Rocky and Kelly, that is less time that they are making kilts and having to talk on the phone (although I am sure a break is quite nice at some points of the day). I am sure that USAKilts has an email address that they can also be reached at to answer any questions.
