    Pug hair magnets.

Wearing my nylon microfiber El Commando kilt that doesn't get much run time. Sat on my couch and soon discovered a whole lot of hard to remove pug hair all over the pleats.
I use a fuzzy acrylic blanket to cover my couch because it holds the dog hair and really reduces the transfer to my kilts.
No transfer to cotton or cotton blends and very little to Rocky's treated PVs. Works great !
But the dog hair likes the all nylon microfiber better than the acrylic blanket.

The washing machine is only marginal at removing pug hair. A long air tumble dry gets more out but not all out.

I think the nylons and acrylics carry a hefty static charge, even wet.

Liquid fabric softeners ( Downy ) dampens the charge, but is a total no-no for any kilt.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.
