We visited friends last night who have scottish ancestry, when they saw me wearing a kilt the lass brought out her "kilts" to proudly display them.

She hadn't worn them for about two years and when she saw them she found that moths had eaten a few holes in them, they were lovely woolen tartans,(Muir).

Moral of the story (at least for men), don't leave your kilts in the wardrobe (closet) too long!
