There is a pub located in the Historic Properties along the waterfront named the "Lower Deck" that on Saturday afternoons has some very good music and laughs with local performers. The locals are a very friendly bunch and will often make space at at table for you and welcome you to sit down and join them. If you're wearing a kilt you'll be fine but prepare to be teased in good humour!
