Sett width question.
This is DC Dalgleish MacKinlay Reproduction colours. It is basically black watch with a red overcheck. I plan to make a traditional box pleat with it. At first, I thought it had a four and a half inch repeat, but then I realised that this is not the case. I had worked with another modern MacKinlay but since it was knife pleated to the red stripe, I hadn't noticed that the thin black stripes alternate between two and four. So would you consider this a 9 inch repeat (with two red stripes per repeat) in that case and pleat to stripe? I think I know the answer, just confirming.
