I had a great Kilted Friday. I worked from home today, but tonight we went to our local theater to see a friend in their production of "Dracula". Prior to that, we stopped at KFC. It was a good excuse for me to try out my new accessories that I picked up from UT Kilts. I bought a white semi-formal sporran ("Designed in Scotland") and a black kilt belt and Celtic knot belt buckle. They were affordable, but decent for me as a venture into more traditional kilt looks.
I wore my Campbell Sport Kilt, a light blue Alfani shirt, and my black House of Cheviot Lewis hose, black hose garters, and black Stacy Adams loafers. I got compliments at both KFC and at the theater. One guy was very fascinated by my kilted look. He said he was interested in wearing one, but didn't have any reasons of heritage to wear one. I told him that the kilt is for everyone, and that I'm barely Scottish, but I still enjoy it.
