The PhotoBucket thing has ruined most of the old posts and threads on all the sites I visit.
I think this is the only site that automatically locks threads after a time. This has the disadvantage of preventing people who have migrated their images to another host from posting follow-up posts with working photos.
But probably it's a good thing, because it lets the old threads with dead photos fade away. Anyone wanting to post photos will of necessity create a new thread with photos hosted on a new site.
I don't care for the built-in photo thing this site has, where a thumbnail shows up and you have to click on it to see it then click on it again to make it go away. Why? Because you can't compare things by seeing two or more fullsize photos at the same time, perhaps from different posts, like you can if fullsize photos show up in the posts. (Such as comparing the cuts of two different kilt jackets, or comparing the pleating options by looking simultaneously at two photos on two posts of the backs of two different kilts.)
In any case I've been resizing my photos to a fairly standard size and putting them up on Imgur, which so far has worked well.
