The map which you posted actually shows the eastern lowlands, all the way north to the south shore of the Firth of Forth as "Men of Lothian", English speaking.No they aren't, they are mostly Gaelic-speaking. Please Google the map of Scotland.
The Lothian region extends from the east of the Central Lowlands southwards into the Southern Uplands.
