There was a pretty good shot of the kilt and my new sporran with pockets that I lent to Todd. It was just a two minute segment but he did manage to get in a, "It was made by my good friend Bear at Bear Kilts."
That played across Canada!
Yes, my good friend Bear, of whom I have only met in person for a few months, but I have known his partner for years upon years.

Thank you Bear for putting the final rush job on the kilt. We almost had Bear featured on the taped segment for The National that was filmed the week before. At the restaurant while wearing the Lion Head mask, I was wearing a Fraser of Lovat tartan from Simon Fraser University.

I was really tempted to show Peter Mansbridge how the velcro worked on the kilt. Too bad the picture of me taken with Peter Mansbridge only shows the waistband of Bear's Maple Leaf tartan
