It's Prom Night in our little Mississippi town. My son, who has been wearing a kilt for 6 years, asked if he could wear one to Prom. He got permission from the school and, more importantly, from his his girlfriend. He got a new MacFarlane Hunting tartan kilt (we are in the Knox family on my dad's side).

This takes some big courage. We are in the deep south and some people can be a closed minded about something a little different. But when I dropped them off, they both got a lot of nice complements.


This was taken before we picked up his girlfriend. The little dog is posing too!
