One man’s meat
Understanding thread count and what colours to use delves into another realm altogether e.g. the subject of weaving theory (thread count) required if one is designing for different weights of fabric and the various uses, heavy, light wool or lightweight fabric and its use, Kilt (winter or summer) kilt skirt or accessories etc. Along with colour theory (colours that work together) covered under the repeat pattern process.
The point here can be basically summed up with the proverb 'one man’s meat is another’s poison'
