Crystal Coast Highland Games, October 23rd, 2021 in Beaufort NC

It was the first year for these games, and while tiny, it was a fun event. There were just 8 clans in attendance, and just a few vendors and a small group of pipers and dancers. Clan Guthrie USA hosted a tent and my daughter, my girlfriend and I spent most of our time at the games hanging out there, with a couple of trips to the beer enclosure which coincidentally was also the best spot near the field to watch the athletics. It was my girlfriend’s first clan gathering and she really enjoyed herself. There’s lots of room for improvement here, but again, a decent effort for a first try and attendance was fairly high. I hope it becomes an annual thing. I know I’ll be attending if it does.
